Duffy Theatre Report

W.A.L.T Write an information report that informs the audience.

Success Criteria

• I use an opening statement that explains the subject of the report.

• The opening statement is followed by sentences that describe the event; what you saw, what you did, how you felt, what you learnt.
• Each paragraph focuses on a different aspect of the topic; travelling, the beach, the lagoon walk, playground.

On Monday, 23th of March, Duffy Theatre came to perform and teach us how to save power. We need to save power because the world is being destroyed by Global Warming. It is also causing fires, tsunamis and droughts.

To save power, you have to take shorter showers, walk to school if it’s not raining. Turn lights off if not in the room and if you have a fireplace, use that instead of a heat pump. Another way you can help the planet is by planting trees. This will help humans to breath.

The characters in this play were Duffy, Global Girl, and Global Warming.

Global girl was wearing a blue costume, Duffy was wearing a red costume like global girl just a different color, Global warming was wearing a purple costume and there was a character dressed up as a flame.
